Reducing drought

Agriculture uses 80% of the world’s freshwater. By optimizing current production techniques in the field through best practices and technological innovation, we can reduce the water used on crops and thus increase the water available for human consumption, while ensuring food production.

Helping farmers effectively

Farmers suffer from serious problems in maintaining their businesses due to market pressures, difficulty in finding personnel and water shortages. Thanks to training, they can discover good practices and technologies to optimize their crops and even discover new crops that are more profitable.

Securing food production

The increase in the world population and growing tensions in the international political landscape are forcing countries to work towards becoming more and more self-sufficient in agriculture. The use of good practices and technological innovations in the field makes it possible to ensure this self-sufficiency in food production.

Why WIWA?

Water scarcity is a growing problem worldwide, and it is only going to get worse with climate change.

WIWA’s mission is to solve this problem by reducing water consumption in agriculture, which uses 80% of the world’s freshwater.

Fortunately, today it is possible to reduce this expenditure by using good agricultural practices and technological innovations.

At WIWA we believe that in this way we can have a significant impact on the world’s water supply and help ensure that everyone has access to clean, safe water and safe food production through sustainable agriculture.
